Jerome "Butch" Halminiak, 86, of Palm City, Florida, passed away on August 11, 2019 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, he had been a South Florida resident for 15 years coming from Naperville, Illinois.

During the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Air Force,

Before retiring he was a civil engineer.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Zoraida Halminiak and his daughter, Christina Dragutsky, her husband Brian and their son Austin of Boca Raton, Florida. Other survivors include his 3 sons, Michael, Brian and Kevin, in Chicago; a daughter, Maureen, in Sarasota, Florida and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Halminiak.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
