Jerome S. "Jerry" Knowles, 57, of Hobe Sound, Florida, died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas, he had been a resident of Hobe Sound for four years, coming from Fort Lauderdale.

Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Jerry's Landscaping in the greater Miami and Fort Lauderdale area.

Survivors include two sons, Jerome S. Knowles, Jr, of Avon Park, Florida, and Jason D. Knowles of Hobe Sound; one brother, Larry Knowles, of Pembroke Pines, Florida; two sisters, Denise Sewell, of Georgia, and Jean Mazur, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and one grandson, Devin Knowles.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart.
