Jerry Murl Hewitt's Obituary
Jerry Murl Hewitt 72, of Hobe Sound, FL passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Martin Nursing & Restorative Care Center, in Stuart.
Mr. Hewitt was born July 25, 1939 in Albion, MI, and proudly served in the U.S. Army Air Force.
He had been a resident of Hobe Sound, FL for over thirty years, coming from Albion, MI. Prior to retirement he worked in the produce business, and he owned & operated Jerry's Produce in Hobe Sound.
He is survived by his wife of nine years, Doris Madeline Hewitt of Hobe Sound, FL; two sons, Larry and Jay Hewitt of MI; daughter Rebecca Wilkins of MI; two sisters, Virginia Argo of Charlotte, MI; Cindy Scovel of Smyrna, TN; brothers, Jack Hewitt of Bouldersport, PA; Earl Huitt of Battle Creek, MI; and several grandchildren.
Services: A Memorial Service for Jerry Hewitt will be held at The Mayes Center for Hope; 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997, on Friday May 25th @ 11 a.m. Family & friends are invited, their will be a reception immediately following.
