Vaught, Joan Lillian, age 87, of Stuart, Florida went to be with the Lord Sunday, February 11, 2024 in Miami, Florida.

Joan was born on September 14, 1936 to John and Anita Rudd in Schenectady, NY. Joan moved to Miami and attended Edison High School in Miami.

Joan met the love of her life, Bob, while on a double date with someone else at the age of 16. Bob and Joan married May 7, 1955. Bob and Joan went on to have 5 children, Judi Vaught, passed away January 8, 2021, Lori Penna (Bob), Robert Jr. (Jela) John (DeDe) and Richard (Janelle).

Bob and Joan owned R.L. Vaught and Associates. Joan and Bob worked the business together at the time of Bob's death. The business was then sold to their son, John.

Joan was a deeply devout woman. She was known as a prayer warrior. She enjoyed traveling to attend her grandchildren's sporting events.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Bob, her daughter Judi and her brother Alan. Joan is survived by her daughter, Lori and her three sons, Robert Jr., John and Richard. Joan has 24 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
