Joann Elizabeth Bovee's Obituary
Joanne Elizabeth (Sova) Bovee, 87, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away on November 30 ,2022.
Joanne was a graduate of Alma High School & Western Michigan University. Prior to her retirement, she was a freelance writer for several South Florida design magazines.
While living in New York, she was active in Syracuse Stage, Junior League, Syracuse Symphony, the Everson Museum & numerous political campaigns.
Joanne was predeceased by her parents & her beloved daughter, Julie (Bovee) Wise.
She is survived by her daughter, Kerry E. Lasner (Harvey), her son, Scott D. Bovee, her 2 grandsons, David & Tyler, her sisters, Mary Zafiropulos (Dimitri), Lavaun (Edward) Sheldrake, Ruth Ann Linders, a niece , several nephews, & her dear friend, Lin.
Joanne's family would like to thank her Water's Edge family for providing Joanne with loving care over the last several years.
Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice.
