Joanne Croke, 63, of Stuart, Florida passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart surrounded by her family. Joanne
fought a courageous battle with Parkinson's.

Joanne was born in Gloversville, New York, 1952. She resided in Stuart for 30 years.

She leaves behind her true love of 40 years, Paul that never left her side. Their love story began at Delhi College in upstate New York. Their marriage was blessed with three sons, Michael, John, and Andrew. Her grandson Adien was a delight to her. Also left behind are her mother Anna O. Javarone, her brother Tony Javarone, wife Monique, her two sisters Mary Lou Toth, husband Lou, and Rose Marie Brown, husband Steve, plus many nieces and nephews.

Joanne was predeceased by her father, Anthony.

Paul and Joanne loved to spend their time boating, cruising, and enjoying paradise in Martin County. She had the heart of a servant and devoted many hours to the Carpenter's Soup Kitchen.

Joanne was a devoted teacher at Palm City Elementary for thirteen years and St. Michael's for fifteen years. Joanne touched the lives of so many students.

She was affectionately known to her friends and her sons' friends as "JoJo".

She left many wonderful memories with the community of Stuart. She will be remembered forever and greatly missed by all who knew her.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 9:30 A.M. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 1200 10th Street, Stuart, Florida, with a reception immediately following in the Saint Joseph's Family Center.

Memorial contributions in Joanne's name may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hospice Foundation, 1201 Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
