Joel R. Cummings, 94, of Palm City, FL, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018.

Born in New York City, she had been a resident of Palm City for 24 years, coming from Bellport, New York.

Prior to her retirement she was an Account Executive and an advertisement designer with  "Moriches Bay Tide"  and later  "Suffolk Life" Newspapers in New York.

An avid golfer, she was a former member and President of both the Bellport Ladies Golf Club and Martin Downs Ladies Golf Club. She accomplished two "holes in one" during her years playing in Bellport.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 year, John B. Cummings, Sr..

Survivors include her daughter, Constance Cummings Miller and her husband, Herman of Bellport; her son, John B. Cummings, Jr., of Palm City; and two grandchildren, Herman Miller, IV of Charleston, South Carolina and Jacqueline Miller of Bellport.

Service and Interment beside her husband, will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida at the convenience of the family.
