Johann Detore, 76, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away February 25, 2014 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.

Born in Hinesburg, Vermont, December 12, 1937, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie, since 2006, coming from Plantation, Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Richard Detore; one daughter, Caren Detore, of Tucson, Arizona; four sons, Christopher, of Fort Pierce, Florida, Dominic , of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Michael, of Orlando, Florida and Timothy, of Fort Lauderdale.

She is also survived by three sisters, Lucy Bergians, of St. Charles, Missouri, Virginia Revelle, of South Burlington, Vermont, and Kathleen Haynes, of Bennington, Vermont; one granddaughter, Sabrina; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Van and Edna Berry, two sisters, Bertha Trono, and Lila Kilmer, and two brothers, Wyman , and Carroll Berry.

A Graveside Service will be held at a later date at Lake View Cemetery, Burlington, Vermont.
