John R. Boehm, 72, of Palm City, Florida passed away surrounded by family on Friday, December 21, 2018. Born in Queens, New York, John raised his children in Mahopac, New York before moving to Jupiter, Florida in November of 2001. He then moved to Palm City, Florida four years ago.

Johnny was loved by every person who met him. He had a noble easy way about him, loved to make people smile and had a wonderful sense of humor.  A carpenter/builder by trade, John was skilled in furniture making, restorations and all home renovations.  Family said he could build or fix anything.  If he fixed it, he would leave it better than he found it, a theme that he carried throughout all areas of his life; their world was made better because he was part of it.  John was a proud Ford man and enjoyed working on his autos. Boating was a favorite pastime as well.  He and his wife, Ellen's happiest memories were times spent together.  They traveled often, including trips to Germany, Ireland, Central America, Alaska and a lot of the U.S.  They spent 29 years married and 31 beautiful years sharing, laughing and building their life together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen Ebert Boehm; three children: Darlene Boehm, Michael Boehm, and Deirdre Bambi; six grandchildren: Elyse Boehm, Joseph Bambi Jr., Michael Boehm Jr., Kayla Mae Fuller, Tristin Bambi, and Jade Bambi; two siblings: Erich Boehm and Elizabeth Boehm, as well as several nieces and nephews.  John was preceded in death by two siblings: Eleanor Wachter  and Albert Boehm.

A Memorial Service will be at 10:30 am Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Immanuel Lutheran Church,  2655 SW Immanuel Drive, Palm City, Florida 34990.
