John Dudzenski, Retired Major, US Army, 68, of Palm City passed away July 2, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of Joseph and Irene Dudzenski. He moved to Palm City from Boca Raton in 2012.
He went to Riverview Community High School and studied at Cameron University.
John served his country for over 20 years in the U. S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. During his career he was awarded Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal, 3 OLC/Air Medal; Twelfth Award/Joint Service Commendation Medal; Army Commendation Medal; 2 OLC Army Achievement Medal; Good Conduct Medal; National Defense Service Medal; 2 Vietnam Service Medal with 4 service stars; Armed Forces Reserve Medal; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon; Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal; Parachutist Badger; Army Aviator Badge and Overseas Service Bar.
He had a strong work ethic and continued working after his military career. Most recently he was a Facilities manager at CBRE- FPL in Jupiter.
Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Beverly; sons, John (Sandra), David (LuLu) and Michael; daughter, Amanda (Robert); brother, Fred Cuddy and five grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 12:45 PM, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
