John "Jack" Robert Dunning, 72, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Affectionately known as "Jack", he was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Hollis and Janet (Phillips) Dunning. Raised in Columbus, he graduated from South High School there.
He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Prior to retirement he was the owner/operator of the Pizza Cottage and also involved in Commercial Fishing and Auto Repair.
Jack also enjoyed playing the bass guitar.
Survivors include his wife Teresa A. Dunning of Stuart; one son, John Robert Dunning, Jr. and his wife, Marcelle of Elkhart, Indiana; his brother, Lawrence E. Dunning of Hollywood, Florida; and one grandson, Ian Robert Dunning, also of Elkhart.
Services and Interment will be at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory of Stuart.
