John Francis Hearty, 86, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home.

Born in New York City, he had been a resident of Circle Bay Yacht Club for 13 years, coming from Farmingdale, New York.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United Sates Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Prior to his retirement he was the Owner/Operator and Vice President of Williams Elevator in Copiague, New York.

Survivors include his five children, Nancy Daye, Georgette Kelleher, John Hearty, Deborah Carrier, and Thomas Hearty all of Long Island, New York.

Services and Interment with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag will take place at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island at a future date.
