John A. "Jetto" Hendron, 78, of Jensen Beach, Florida, died peacefully Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida, surrounded by his loving family.
Affectionately known as "Jetto", he was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and had been a resident of Jensen Beach since 1979, coming from Salem, Ohio.
He was one of the few, the proud, a Marine, serving his country honorably in his younger years.
Prior to his retirement, Jetto was the owner/operator of a Lawn & Landscape Service in Jensen Beach for 28 years.
John was dearly loved and survived by his wife of 49 years, Toni Hendron; three daughters, Kristen Hernandez and her husband, Luis, of Cary, North Carolina, Kathryn Hendron and her companion, Scott Jones, of Jensen Beach, and Karlin Moore and her husband, Chris, of Cary, North Carolina; and five grandchildren Alexandra, Gabriella, and Madelin Hernandez; and Hayden and Landon Moore.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Buttles and all the nurses at Hospice, especially Anita, for their care.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate of his life will be offered Saturday, January 10th at 10:30 am at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, Florida 34957 (772-334-4214).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions as a memorial to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
We will miss our dear "Jetto".
