John Kinder, 87 of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart.
Born December 31, 1929 in Collingdale, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Arthur G. and Margaret Evelyn (nee Griffith) Kinder.
Mr. Kinder received his associate's degree from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. He had worked for the Railroad and also Sun Oil Company, retiring as Supervisor of Computer Operation.
Mr. Kinder also served in the National Guard.
He enjoyed a variety of outdoors sports including canoeing, hiking and skiing. He and his wife, June also did a lot of traveling in their RV.
Mr. Kinder also enjoyed reading.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, June; a niece and nephew living in North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Kinder.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11 AM, Monday, February 6, 2017 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Stuart.
