John Joseph Marciante, 93, of Stuart passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care in Stuart.
Born November 6, 1922 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Joseph and Pasqualina Marciante. John moved to Stuart in 1978, coming from Ozone Park, NY.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and received the Asiatic Pacific Theatre Ribbon, Good Conduct Ribbon, American Theatre Ribbon and WWII Victory Ribbon.
John had attended Pace College in New York. He retired from Security Title as a manager.
He was a member of Old Catholic Church of Norwick in Port St. Lucie. John's favorite hobby was golf.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 66 years, Joan; loving children, Linda Pfohl, John Marciante, Paula Marciante; cherished grandchildren, John Justin, Mia, Tommy, Anthony, Michael; and sister, June Brady.

Military honors will be rendered at 10 am, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Stuart Nursing & Restorative Care Center followed by the celebration of Mass.
