John Joseph McHugh, 93, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2019, at the Cleveland Clinic Martin Health System North in Stuart.

Born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, he had been a resident of Stuart for fifteen years, coming from his birthplace.

He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Navy.

Prior to his retirement, John was a Food Broker in the Wholesale Food Business.

An avid golfer, he had played at almost every golf course in the country and was a member of the Miles Grant Country Club in Stuart.

He was preceded in death by his wife Audrey Morgan McHugh, who passed away in 1996.

John is survived by his daughter and caregiver, Alice J. McHugh also of Stuart.

Services and Interment with be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure  Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
