Obituary

John Frederick Probst, 91, of Port St. Lucie Florida, passed away on March 28, 2021.

He was born in Hempstead, New York, and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 25 years. Previously he lived in Hudson, Ohio.

He was a veteran of the United State Air Force having served overseas in Scotland.

Prior to retiring, he was in Advertising Sales for the Thomas Register of American Manufacturers for over 30 years.

John is survived by his wife of 27 years, Karen Probst; his children Theresa Brinkley and John Probst both of St. Augustine, Florida; five siblings; two grandchildren, Kristen and Brandon Harris, in addition to three step-children and his beloved dog, Casey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert Probst and Mary Catherine Riley and four siblings.

John enjoyed golf, cooking and loved working crossword puzzles.

A Covid-19 compliant visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 2-4 pm at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida 34994. For more information, please call 772-287-1985.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at South Florida VA National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida.
