John Joseph Rosynek, 86, of Palm City, FL passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012 at Martin Memorial, Stuart, FL.
Mr. Rosynek was born in Chicago, IL. He was a veteran, who served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been a resident of Palm City, FL for thirteen years, coming from Boynton Beach, FL. Prior to retirement he worked for Continental Can Company for forty years, as an engineer. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus, American Legion #615 in Tinley Park, IL.
He is survived by Mary Grace Rosynek of Marseilles, IL; four children, daughter Gail DeYoung of Delray Beach; son Terry Rosynek of Palm City, FL; son David Rosynek of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; daughter Dawn Burnson of Marseilles, IL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services: The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6- 8 on Thursday, July 19, 2012. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm, at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home; Garden Chapel; 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34994.
Interment with military honors will be held at 12:45pm on Friday, July 20, 2012 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
