In loving memory of John Rockwell Thomson Hobday, "Rocky"
On Saturday, October 11, 2014, peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by his father, Dr. John Hobday, and brother, Giles.
He is survived by his wife, Laurie; his mother, Irene Hobday; five brothers, Jonathan, Simon, Humphrey Eric and Neil; two sisters, Fiona and Ginny; one stepdaughter, Jaime; and grandson, Brock. Also survived by nine nephews, ten nieces, 6 great-nephews, 5 great-nieces, and many cousins, as well as his friends in Florida, United Kingdom, South Africa, Grand Cayman and around the world. And especially his loyal dog, Kaibo, and cat, Tikki.
A Service to Celebrate His Life will be held Saturday, October 18, 2014 at 5:00 pm at the McArthur Golf Club, 6550 SE Osprey Street, HobeSound, Florida 33455 (772-545-3838).
Contributions as a Memorial may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997 or to Debbie's Dream Foundation - Surviving Stomach Cancer, 9110 West State Road #84, Davie, Florida 33324.
