Obituary

Joseph Francis Connolly, age 55, left this world on December 30, 2014, and heaven and earth will never be the same.
Joe was a gentle giant who used his enormous hands to make a living in construction. Those same hands lovingly cradled, guided and will forever hold his beloved children "Josepi-Boci-Galupe" and Kimi, who were his greatest pride and joy. His face glowed in their presence or whenever he spoke about them.
In addition to his beloved children Joe also leaves behind his "eternal soul mate" as he called her, Donna Luihn.
Joe's Mother, Jane Connolly and his 11 siblings, of which he was "the baby", are eternally grateful to Donna for loving him deeply, faithfully, and as devotedly as she has, and continues to, love him.
"To know him is to love him" was written with Joe in mind. He was bigger than life, both figuratively and literally, and loved without limit, family and friends. Joe was the most loyal, gentle and compassionate man God has created. He also had a sense of humor that defies explanation!
The strength of Joe's enormous hands, that skillfully provided him a living, were equally gentle, loving, unconditionally embracing and giving. His hands reflected the man he was.
His father, William "Bill" Connolly, precedes Joe in death.
Joe leaves this world but never our hearts and we know he will welcome each of us to heaven one day with open arms, his infamous hugs and a fishing pole. Sleep with the angels Dadsee ya later alligator.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Monday, January 5, 2014 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 2555 NE Savannah Road, Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
