Joseph B. Knob, 79, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart.
Born in the Bronx, New York, he had been winter resident of Stuart for five years until recently moving here permanently from Fishkill, New York.
Joe honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
Survivors include his beloved wife of fifty-five years, Joan L. Knob of Stuart; one son, Brian Douglas Knob and his wife, Deneen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one daughter, Dr. Kimberly Robasky and her husband, Frank of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; one brother, Kurt Knob and his wife, Jeannie of New Jersey; two sisters, Leatrice Trollo of New Jersey, and Lynne Cuomo and her husband, Richie also of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of His Life will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 9:45 am in the Chapel of the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, Florida. Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Army Military Honor Guard will precede the service at 9:30 am. A reception for family and friends will follow on the Funeral Home veranda.
