Joseph Sapuppo, Sr., age 84 of Hobe Sound, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hay Madeira House in Stuart, FL. Joseph was born September 24, 1928 in Painesville, OH, son of the late Anthony and Rose (Dimbrio) Sapuppo. Joseph and his wife, Arlene moved from Ohio to Hobe Sound, FL 27 years ago where they have remained ever since. Surviving are his loving wife, Arlene Sapuppo of Hobe Sound, FL; son, Joseph Sapuppo, Jr. of La Belle, FL; daughters, Sherri & Ed Black of Beaver Falls, PA, Carmella & Steven Rothwell of Stuart, FL and Rosemary Darden of Boston, MA; 7 granddaughters; brother, Dominic Sapuppo. He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Wayne and Jeff; 2 sisters. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled. Interment will take place at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society (2585 SE Federal Hwy; Stuart, FL 34994).
