Joyce McComas Latta, 87 of Stuart Florida passed away peacefully on Sept 19 ^th 2022 at Treasure Coast Hospice.

Born in Huntington, West Virginia she had been a resident of Stuart Florida for 41 years coming from Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Prior to retiring, she was an English teacher at Martin County High School. Joyce enjoyed spending time with her family and going to dinner with her friends.  She loved the beach and enjoyed golf and being outside.

Survivors include her daughters, Jennifer Brown Towell (Ray) and Carla Brown Colombo (Paul). Her grandchildren Lauren DeBoben and Hunter Towell and James Towell (Megan), Ray Towell (Arianna) and Taylor Stroud as well as 5 great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Latta and her parents Malcolm McComas and Blanche Bailey McComas.
