Justin William Pierce, Jr., 57, of Stuart, Florida, died Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at his home.
Born in Somerset, New Jersey, he had been a resident of Stuart, since 1984, coming from Palm Beach, Florida.
He was a former licensed Charter Boat Captain at the Sailfish Club of Florida in Palm Beach, until moving to Stuart, where he owned and operated the Justin H. Pierce Grading Company.
An avid antique car enthusiast, he was the great-great grandson of George Norman Pierce, Founder of the Pierce Arrow Motor Car Company of Buffalo, New York.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Laura Ann Pierce, of Stuart; one daughter, Jessica Ann Pierce, of New York City, New York; one sister, Mary Ann Westwood, of Palm City, Florida; and one brother, Edward Pierce, of Neshanic Station, New Jersey.
Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
