Karen JoAnn Hileski, age 76, of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday,
January 22, 2023. Karen was a teacher for the Comstock Public School system and went on to teach at Western Michigan University after retirement. She spent the later part of retirement in Phoenix, AZ where she loved to hike and explore the outdoors. She was an avid reader and lover of trivia.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents Merle and Forsia Watkins, her
husband, Terry (Duke) Hileski, her brother Mike Watkins and brother-in-law O.R. Smith. She will be dearly missed by her sons, Alex (Deanna) Pool and Derek (Sandy) Pool; her siblings Marna (Larry) Fenicle, Jim (Bette) Watkins, Murray (Pat) Watkins, Deb Smith, and John (Mary) Watkins; sister-in-law Carolyn Watkins; her grandchildren Anna, Jack, Leah, Luke, Anderson, and Carson; along with many extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A memorial is being planned for later this year in Michigan.
