Katheen Florio, beloved mother and grandmother, died Saturday, February 19, 2022, at her home in Stuart, Florida. She was 79 years old. Before moving to Stuart in 2020, Kathy lived in Port Saint Lucie, Florida where she had been a resident since 1985 and North Miami before moving to Port Saint Lucie.

Kathy was born Kathleen Linda Walsh in 1942 in New York City, to parents Emily Shea and Martin Walsh. She graduated from Edison High School. Kathy thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR; particularly going to live races around the country with her Husband, Frank, and other family members. Kathy was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and creating needlepoint.

In addition to her three children Scott Bundy, Todd Bundy-Florio, and Colleen Florio, Kathy is mourned by her six grandchildren Kaitlynn Florio, Ashley Florio, Brandon Florio, Christian Bundy, Aidan Bundy, and Keegan Austin, her constant-companion miniature poodle Star, along with an abundance of life-long friends. She is predeceased by her husband, Frank Florio, who died in 2016.

A memorial service will be hosted on Saturday, March 5th at 11:00am at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey in Stuart, FL. She will be dearly missed by all.
