Kathryn S. Brown, 73, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at the Martin Memorial Hospital North in Stuart, Florida.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, she had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for twelve years, coming from Allentown, Pennsylvania.

An accomplished baker, she had a following in Pennsylvania, baking wedding cakes and baking and decorating cakes to the local townspeople's special occasions and holidays and also worked for KidsPeace in Orefield, Pennsylvania.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda E. Beshel and her future husband, Doug Young of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; two sons, Michael Buckallew and his wife, Maria of Port Saint Lucie, and David Buckallew of Allentown; six grandchildren, Zachary, Nicholas, Joshua, Sadie, Michael, and Sandra; and one great-granddaughter, Sienna.

Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
