Kenneth G. Kibler, age 82 of Stuart, FL passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 in Fort Pierce, FL. Ken was born October 3, 1930 in Orange, NJ, son of the late Edward and Wilhelmina (Schumers) Kibler. He retired from Commonwealth Edison after 36 years and came to the Treasure Coast from Plainfield, IL in 1987. He served on the school board and was a long time member of the Lions Club in IL. In his spare time, Ken had a passion for fishing, golf and traveling across the country in their RV. More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family. Surviving are his loving wife, Mary (Cashman) Kibler of Stuart, FL; his 4 children, Colleen (Richard) Mark of Port St. Lucie, FL, Keith (Melodie) Kibler of Plainfield, IL, Kathleen Kibler of Aurora, IL and Spc. Kenneth J. Kibler of Joint Base Lewis McCord, Seattle, WA; 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Patrick, a grandson, Jason Mark and 3 brothers. Per his wishes, cremation will take place and memorial services will be held in Illinois at a later date.
