Kenneth H. Klein of Palm City, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, he had lived in Palm City since 1989 having moved here from Barrington, Rhode Island.

Before retirement in 1996, he was Chief Operating Officer of the Commercial Group, L.G. Balfour Company of Massachusetts, and a consultant in business planning and human resources.

He served in the United States Air Force as a Maintenance Officer in the Strategic Air Command. Ken earned  BS and MBA degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and was a member of Palm City Presbyterian Church.

During his years in Palm City, he was President of Martin Downs Country Club, Treasurer and twice President of the Heronwood HOA, President of the West Villages Presidents Council and a member of the Executive Board of Martin Downs POA.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Nancy; two sons Carlton Klein and wife, Karen of Wilton, Connecticut and Craig Klein and wife, Lesley of Cary, North Carolina; a sister Barbara Lindenberg of Fern Park, Florida; and five grandchildren Allison, Jennifer, Alexis, Christopher,and Alana.

A Celebration of Life Service with Military Honors and Presentation of the Flag by the United States Air Force Military Honor Guard will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Palm City Presbyterian Church, 2700 SW Martin Highway, Stuart, Florida 34990

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that Contributions as a Memorial be made to the local Chapter of the American Cancer Society, 865 SE Monterey Commons, Stuart, Florida 34996
