Kenneth Eugene Morgan's Obituary
Kenneth Eugene Morgan, age 86, of Hobe Sound, Florida, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, after suffering complications from pneumonia.
He was born to Kenneth and Gladys Morgan on May 7, 1933, in Milford, Iowa. Soon after the family settled in Danville, Illinois, where he grew up and later graduated from Danville High School. He then studied at Olivet Nazarene College for two years, earning an associate degree.
He moved to Chicago and was married to Pauline Hoover on December 26, 1953. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1961. He chose the career of auto mechanics, and after moving to Florida in 1984, he and his son David opened their own business, A 1 Auto Care Inc in Hobe Sound.
Ken was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Hoover Morgan, his parents, and his brother Jim Morgan.
He is survived by his children David and Esther Morgan, and Ronnie Morgan; his grandchildren Marianne and Brandon Mills, Melinda Morgan, and Alex Morgan; and his great-grandchildren Stefan and Chase Mills; his sister Ruby Heinrichs, and his brother Forest Morgan.
A wake will be held at Hobe Sound Bible Church, 11295 SE Gomez Avenue, Hobe Sound, on Tuesday, May 5, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be on Wednesday, May 6 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth.
