Kenneth William Young, Sr., 79 of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away November 26, 2018 at Martin Hospital South in Stuart, Florida.

Born December 5, 1938 in Camden, NJ he was the son of William J. and Elma M. Young.  He moved to Hobe Sound two years ago from South Carolina; prior to that he had resided most of his life in Maryland.

He retired as a parts handler after 33 years of employment with Navistar International Corporation (formerly International Harvester Company).

Kenneth attended Hobe Sound Bible Church.

He enjoyed music and played the trumpet.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Donna  Young; sons, Kenneth, Jr. and wife Faith, David and wife Priscilla, Paul and wife Christine; grandchildren, Melissa, David Jr. (wife Beatrice), Ashley, Lauren; and great granddaughter, Margot.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sisters and grandparents including Margaret Cheeseman who raised him.

SERVICES:  Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM, Friday, November 30, 2018 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL 34994 a Funeral Service will begin at 11 AM.  Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990.
