Kevin Francis Banks, 58 died peacefully on April 18, 2012 surrounded by his family at Treasure Coast Hospice, in Stuart, FL.

He was born in New York City and was a resident of Stuart, FL and Lanoka Harbor, NJ.

Kevin spent more than 36 years working in the plastics industry culminating in 2000 when he became owner and president of Cary Compounds, a position he held until his retirement in 2008. When Kevin retired in Florida, he soon found a place to call his own, Banks' Sports Bar & Grill which he owned and operated until his death.

Kevin is survived by his only daughter Kimberly Costello, her husband James and their son Ryan James as well as Kim's mother Fran. In addition, Kevin is also survived by his ten brothers and sisters: John, James, Margaret, Joseph, William, Elizabeth, Charles, Mary, Barbara, and Christopher along with their families which include 19 nieces and nephews and many friends in Florida and New Jersey.

Kevin enjoyed spending time with his friends on his boat and at the golf course, especially at Lost Lake Golf Club.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Special Olympics or a charity of the donor's choice.
