Dr. Kim R. Hoover, 61, of Stuart, Florida, died suddenly Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Jensen Beach.
Born in East Canton, Ohio, his family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where Kim graduated from Stranahan High School.
He was a graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa.
Dr. Hoover was a Chiropractic Physician in Stuart, for more than 30 years, and was a member of several local organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Roe Hoover (nee Bowser) of Stuart; his mother, Wilma Hoover, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; his sister, Karen Kinsley, of Jensen Beach, Florida; three nieces, Ashley Neild of Stowe, Vermont, Erin Neild and Samantha Neild, both of Palm City, Florida; one nephew, Dalton Caruana, of Port Saint Lucie; one great-nephew, Hayden Schaeffer, of Palm City, and many cousins in Gainesville, Florida, and Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Hoover, who passed away in 1993.
He will be greatly missed by many family, friends, patients and colleagues. Kim always had a smile for everyone he met.
Friends are encouraged to plant a tree or plants in Kim's memory.
Contributions as a Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's foundation in Kim's name, in honor of his mother, whom suffers from Alzheimer's Disease, would be greatly appreciated.
