Laura Marie Palmieri Bruno passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 65, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on July 26, 1960, Laura was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Barbara Palmieri. She proudly served as a Registered Nurse beginning in 1985 and dedicated more than four decades of her life to the nursing profession.

Laura lived life on her own terms. She loved the ocean and found joy wherever there was water—whether relaxing at the beach, snorkeling, scuba diving, or setting sail on a cruise. Never one to shy away from adventure, she enjoyed roller coasters, thrill rides, parasailing, and making the most of every experience.

An animal lover throughout her life, Laura shared a special bond with her beloved cat, Spice, who was her constant companion. She was also a talented artist who expressed herself through many creative mediums, leaving behind beautiful works that reflected her imagination and passion.

Above all, Laura loved being a mother to her daughter, Angelina. She also leaves behind many memories with family and friends who knew her throughout her life. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Barbara Palmieri, and her brother, Daniel Palmieri. She is survived by her daughter, Angelina; her sister, Bobbie Chatham; her brothers, James Palmieri and Albert Palmieri; her beloved cat, Spice; and many extended family members and friends.
