Lauren G. Mulcahy, 88 of Jensen Beach, FL passed away on December 26, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.   He was born at home on his family farm on February 19, 1933, in East Bethany, NY, the son of Albert and Elizabeth Mulcahy.  Lauren graduated from Pavilion High School in 1950.  Following graduation, he served in the U.S. Air force as a navigator.

After Lauren's military service, he worked in his family's business, Mulcahy Real Estate in Batavia, NY.  Subsequently, he began building and selling homes with his brother Glenn Mulcahy.

Lauren moved his family to Sewall's Point, Florida in 1971 and continued with real estate and property investment in Martin County over the next 50 years.

One of his proudest accomplishments was designing and building his Hutchinson Island dream home on MacArthur Blvd between the Indian River and Atlantic Ocean.  He loved that you could see the sunrise and the sunset every day.  Many friends and family enjoyed the "Mulcahy Beach Home" for years as well as Lauren's passion for the ocean, sailing and fishing.

Lauren was a long time member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stuart where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and member of the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sandra,  three daughters, Susan Mulcahy of Jensen Beach, Alice (Kevin) Parker of Tampa, and Mary Mulcahy of Jensen Beach; five grand children, Andrew and Austin Defraties, Emily and Colin Parker, and Matthew Mulcahy.

A visitation service will be held January 10, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home at 950 SE Monterey Rd in Stuart, Florida.

Lauren's funeral mass will be celebrated on January 11, 2021 at 11am at Holy Family Catholic Church. 2330 SE Mariposa Ave. Pt. St. Lucie, Florida.

Gifts can be made in his memory to Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida.
