Lawrence B. Cooper, age 73 of Fort Pierce, FL passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center Fort Pierce. Larry was born June 30, 1939 in the Bronx, NY, son of the late Jack and Pauline (Schwartz) Cooper. He relocated to South Florida in 1974 from New Jersey. Larry was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed football and baseball. The NY Giants Nation lost a longtime faithful fan. Surviving are his son, Warren Cooper of Salinas, CA; his daughters, Rhea Cooper of Ft. Lauderdale, Melissa Cooper of Vero Beach and Stacy Cooper; his grandchildren, Crystal Hawkins, Ciara Cooper and Alexis Phillips; sister, Marion Pomerantz; nieces, Sharyn Hale, Anissa Pomerantz, Illene Stynen; great niece Jayme Hale; step grandchildren Jennifer Serrano, Heather Murphy, Brandon Reynolds, Brittany (Reynolds) Vinson; great step grandchildren Winter Kral, Elijah Bennett, Noah Vinson; and a loving daughter-in-law Monti Cooper. Per his wishes, cremation will take place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
