Lawrence "Grandpa" Sutton age 72 of Stuart, Florida passed away peacefully on April 14, 2023.

He was born on May 22, 1950 in Martin County. He was a lifelong Martin County resident.

He served his country as a Marine, and his community for 29 years with the Martin County Fire Department in various
roles including Volunteer Firefighter, Firefighter, District Chief, Battalion Chief, and Lieutenant.

He was a member of Tropical Farms Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Kathleen Sutton, daughters Kim Underwood, Candie Abbott (Kurt), Lorrie Beckham (Buddy), C.J Klauck (Michael), grandchildren Derek, Matthew, Hannah, Sophia, Chase, Isa, Joey, and Jade, and one great-grandchild
Carson. Siblings Glenn, Linda, Loretta, and Karen. Many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Maybelle Sutton, and siblings Michael and Catherine.
Service will be held at Tropical Farms Baptist Church 1555 SW Kanner Highway, Stuart, FL 34997 on
Saturday May 6, 2023, starting at 10:00am.
