Lenora Conway Parrish was born February 14, 1925 to William Judson and Mary Isaline Franklin in Norfolk, Virginia. She passed away on September 30, 2016 in Stuart Florida.

Lenora was raised in Freeman, Virginia and later the family moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where she attended school. On October 16,1943 she married Julian Parrish, who preceded her in death.
They were the parents of 7 children, 6 of whom are survivors, Juliet, Jocelyn, Gloria, Julian, Terence and Lenora.

Lenora was an accomplished seamstress. She made several of her husband's suits and upholstered furniture. During her late husband's illness, they began working on puzzles together and a number of them are framed and hanging as pictures. Even during her own Illness, she was still putting puzzles together.

In 1957, Lenora was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She had the privilege of serving as a regular pioneer for a number of years Anyone who knew her knew she loved to talk and sooner or later she was going to talk about the Bible and Jehovah. When she became limited In her door to door ministry, Lenora received her personal telephone territory and used that to point individuals to our web site, JW.org. During her recent stay in the hospital, she witnessed to the nurses and when they came to her home, she witnessed there. She told the nurse who came to her home that she was learning to use a tablet and told her about the different translations of the Bible that she could read.

Lenora is survived by her children, Juliet Johnson (Nelson), Jocelyn Taylor (Bryant)
Gloria Bennett (Sylvester), Julian Parrish, Jr, Terence Parrish (Tammy), Lenora Smith (Ruben). She also leaves to mourn 12 grandchildren, Edward Lewis, Jr., Monica Chambers, Reginald Lewis, Eric Taylor, Terence Parrish, Jr., William Franklin Parrish, Christina Parrish, Jeremy Parrish, Kevin Parrish, Heather Dannie, Heathcliff Dannie and Jocelyn Cornell, 11 great grandchildren, sisters, Audrey Marable and Elaine Tilghman, sisters-in-law, Jane C. Young, Eula Parrish and 1 brother-in-law, James Pierce, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Lenora was preceded in death by sisters, Helen, who died in infancy and Mary Pierce, and three brothers, Ralph, Robert and James.

The memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness located at 1460 N.W. Britt Rd. Stuart Fl. 34994, on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m... The services will be tied in to a Kingdom Hall in Baltimore, Md. for family and friends there. The Maryland location is 3404 Bateman Avenue, 21216. Time: 2:00p.m.
