IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Leslie P.
Wilhoit
June 23, 1952 – March 27, 2021
Leslie "Gator" Wilhoit died peacefully March 27 th , 2021 in his home, surrounded by loving family. He was born June 23 rd , 1952 in Greenville, Tennessee to Glenn D. and Ella K. Wilhoit. His family moved to Indiantown, Florida when he was a child, where he was a resident until death. He met, and married, his lifelong love, Lynn R. Wilhoit in Indiantown as well. He was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 769. He loved and enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, and his greatest love was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Gator lived an adventurous life that many would be jealous of. He would often tell stories of his time on the road, with his family's alligator show, diving and fishing in the Florida Keys, hunting with friends, going on adventures with his boys, and loving life with his wife. Family meant everything to him. He worked hard and lived life to the fullest.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Richard.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn, his sons, Glenn (Missy) and Craig (Hilary), and four grandchildren, Christopher, Richard, Rebecca, and Zoey, all of Indiantown. His lasting love will never be forgotten.
A celebration of his life will be held at his home on April 17 th , 2021.
