Lisa passed away peacefully on January 18, 2016 in Stuart, Florida surrounded by loved ones. She was 51 years old.
Born in Miami, Florida, Lisa Hilton grew up in a very loving and wonderful family. The youngest of four children born to Roger and Emily Hilton, Lisa was the only daughter. She was blessed with three older brothers in Robert (a.k.a Bobby Shane), Kenneth (a.k.a "Bo-Hatton"), and Daniel.
Lisa married Dave LaMaster on August 23, 1986. Dave was the love of Lisa's life and she felt lucky beyond belief to spend her life with him. They met while working at Mitel, and on her first day of work, she saw Dave down a long corridor and mentioned to another co-worker that she would one day marry him, and that's what she did!
Blessed with two children that she adored, Andrew and Kady, Lisa felt that they were her greatest accomplishment. She is extremely proud of Andrew and his eight years of service in the United States Navy, which includes multiple tours in the Middle East, and Kady, who graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Biology. She is also proud to call Andrew's wife, Ashleigh, her daughter-in-law, who is such an important figure in not only Andrew's life, but hers as well.
Lisa had the honor of becoming a Grandmother in her life. Andrew and Ashleigh's children, Audrey and Parker, were absolutely adored by Lisa. Showered with her affection, their lives will be forever touched by her laughter and love.
A deeply passionate person, Lisa's favorite holiday was Christmas, a time when family is always together, and a time when one of her favorite activities, shopping, could be put to its utmost use. She loved her Florida State Seminole Football Team and the Denver Broncos. Ever fond of animals, Lisa cherished her Yorkshire Terrier, Ruby, and constantly pampered her with love and affection. Lisa is proud to have been sober since September 14, 2013.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Dave; parents, Emily and Roger; brothers, Bob, Ken, and Daniel; children, Andrew and Kady; daughter-in-law, Ashleigh and grandchildren, Audrey and Parker; and Yorkie, Ruby.
