Lois Loretta Dennis, born March, 11, 1937 in Shelby, Ohio to Lillian and Harry Gutshall, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, after years of suffering.

She is survived by four daughters, Brenda Nolin and her husband Tom of Florida, Sharon Schultz and her husband Dan of Ohio, Linda Hilbert and her husband Tad of Virginia,  and Heather Dennis of Virginia. She has two surviving sisters, Madaline Sutter and Joan Spangler who both reside in Shelby.

She has 11 grandchildren: Jason Nolin, Eddie McGuire, Brian Moore, Stephanie Killin, Nicole

Feehely, Nicholas Hilbert, Kayla McElwee, Samantha McElwee, Dakota McElwee, Zachry and

Dylan Bailey, along with 15 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her death was preceded by her parents, 8 siblings: Lola Mae, Raymond, Fred, Ruth, Walter, Arlene, Agnes, Ethel and a grandson, Brandon McElwee Jr.

She had moved over the years and lived in Ohio, Texas, California, Virginia and for the last 3 years in Florida.

Lois struggled with Alzheimer's and Renal Failure for many years. Even with all she had to contend with, she had a smile until the very end.

There will be no calling hours and there will be a family Memorial Service in the Spring. Burial will take place at the Oakland Cemetery in Shelby, Ohio.
