Lois J. Sampsel, age 81 of Palm City, FL passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Hay Madeira House in Stuart, FL. Lois was born October 4, 1931 in Fremont, OH, daughter of the late Floyd and Mable Smeltzer. She moved from Massachusetts to Florida in 1960 where she has remained, working for many years as a medical receptionist in the Stuart area. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson. Surviving are her 2 children, Linda Robertson of Palm City, FL and Michael Sampsel of Stuart, FL; grandchildren, Abigail and Emily; great grandson, Blake; sisters, Janet Moon and Dorothy Nist. She was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Litts. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no public services are scheduled at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice (1201 SE Indian St; Stuart, FL 34997). Arrangements are by the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory, Stuart, FL.
