Lois Ruth White, 83, of Hobe Sound, Florida, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Terrace of Hobe Sound.

Born on January 1, 1937, in Finley Township, PA, Lois also spent part of her childhood in Ohio and later moved to Maryland. She and her husband Donald moved to Florida in the early 90s, living first in Port St. Lucie and most recently in Hobe Sound.

Lois loved her family and her Lord. She was a faithful member of Hobe Sound Bible Church for nearly thirty years. She anticipated going to heaven, where she is now with the Savior she had loved so long.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents Charles William and Lillian Genevieve Arnold, her brother Charles William Arnold, Jr., and her brother David Edwin Arnold.

She is survived by Donald White, her beloved husband of sixty-seven years. Her children include Kathleen White Wright of Hobe Sound, FL, Sharon White Munson and her husband Dave of Jackson, KY, Nancy White of Hobe Sound, and Donald White, Jr. and his wife Melody, also of Hobe Sound. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren: Daniel, David (and his wife Carrie), Stephen, Kevin (and his wife Krista), Brian, John, Denise, Brenton, and Ryan, along with nine great-grandchildren: Maylena, Lydia, Konnor, Kallen, Judah, Josiah, Kaden, Kierra, and Jeremiah. Lois is also survived by her precious sister Donna Young of Hobe Sound and her much-loved aunt Thelma Thompson of NC.

In lieu of flowers, friends are welcome to make contributions to Gospel Publishing Missio n, an organization that Lois and her husband have supported for many years.

Services for Lois will be on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home, 950 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, FL. The viewing and visitation time will begin at 1:00, her funeral service will be at 2:00, and interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Palm City, FL.
