Lucie M Cavagner, 99 passed away peacefully in Hospice Care on July 20, 2018.

She was predeceased by her husband Chet, and her grandson Roth Cavagner.

Lucie is survived by her son Lance Cavagner (Celia), and daughter Dea Stever (Michael), four grandchildren, who affectionately, called her Nana, Dawn Golburgh, Melody Wojtusik, Sean Stever, and Jennifer Myers, ten great grandchildren, Jake and Erin Golburgh, Cade, Ty, and Collin Wojtusik, Natalie, Nicholas, Jackson, and Joseph Myers and Sydney Weiss.

Lucie, born June 13, 1919, in Union City N.J. was one of three sisters born to Alfred and Katherine Roth. She graduated from Union Hill High School and then worked for the phone company as an operator.

Lucie married Chet Cavagner in 1944. They resided in Guttenberg N.J. before moving to Miami Florida. Chet passed away in 1970. Lucie had been a Florida resident for 73 years and a Stuart resident for the last 13 years.

She was an avid reader, loved sewing, crocheting, spending time with and cooking for her children and grandchildren and loved visits with her great grandchildren.  Lucie was devoted to her family. We will miss her smile, her sense of humor, her hugs, her kisses and her prayers.

A small private service for the family will be held at 11:00 AM August 1, 2018 at Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral and Crematory at 950 SE Monterey Rd, Stuart, FL 34994.  For those considering a memorial contribution in Lucie's name please consider Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
