Lucille Jeanette Schooley, 87, of Palm City, Florida, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2015, at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, she had been a resident of Palm City for thirty years, coming from Long Island, New York.
An avid Scrabble player, she enjoyed her evenings, watching "Jeopardy" and "Judge Judy". She was a former member of the Anchorage Yacht Club and also a member of the Democratic Party of Martin County.
Lucille was preceded in death by her beloved husband of sixty-one years, Carl Schooley.
Survivors include her six children, Jacqueline Schooley of Palm City, Donna Christopher, and her husband, Michael of Bohemia, New York, Carl Schooley, and his wife, Lida of Setauket, New York, Jeffrey Schooley of Stuart, Florida, John Schooley, and his partner, Maurice Simon of Mastic Beach, New York, and Steven Schooley, and his wife, Patricia of Bohemia, New York; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Philip, and Michelle; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
