Lynda A. Kelley, 64, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Stuart, Florida.
Born in Killeen, Texas, she had been a resident of Holiday Out on South Hutchinson Island for three years, coming from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Lynda was an Associate Engineer, employed by Honeywell Electro-Optics, working in their Aerospace and Defense Group at the Lexington, Massachusetts location. She was part of a technical support group developing experimental research techniques for which several patents were secured and used by NASA on one of the Shuttles as well as by the US NAVY.
In 1987 she moved to West Dennis, Massachusetts, and opened Kelley's Dollhouse and Miniatures on Cape Cod, working with the miniatures industry on a national level to promote interest in this growing hobby.
She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Slattery of Billerica, Massachusetts; and brother, John Kelley of Lorrain, Ohio; six nieces and nephews; and six great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family from the Treasure Coast Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory of Stuart.
