Malcolm Gerald (Jerry) Beirnes, age 73, of Hobe Sound, Florida, went home to Jesus on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Jerry was born in April of 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Malcolm Eugene Beirnes and Alice Angeline Moore Beirnes. Jerry was a man of God who was a loving, kind, devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, playing with his grandchildren, and cooking good food for his family. Jerry's life reflected a caring and humble love of Christ by putting others before himself.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jeanne Hammett Beirnes; daughters, Christy Jean Beirnes and Emily Ruth Beirnes Greenberg (Jared), and son, Andrew William Beirnes (Melody); grandchildren, Malcolm Kingsley Beirnes, Abigail Jean Greenberg, Rebecca Helen Greenberg, William Drake Beirnes, Charlotte (Lottie) Hazel Beirnes, Luke Zacharias Greenberg, Matthew James Beirnes; and siblings, Carol Beirnes Rineheart (David), Paul Beirnes (Glenda), Tim Beirnes (Donna), Sherry Beirnes Hoffman (David) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

Celebration of Life for Jerry Beirnes will be held at Palm City New Hope Church, located at 3900 SW Citrus Blvd, Palm City, FL 34990, on
Friday, September 8, 2023, Visitation from 1pm to 3 pm with Service of Remembrance at 3 pm.
