Margaret Scollo Acerra, 81, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2017 in Stuart, FL. She was born on May 14, 1936, in Ozone Park, NY. Margaret was born the youngest of eight children to Italian immigrants John and Grace Scollo. She married in 1955 on Long Island, New York where she raised her four children in the towns of Garden City, East Meadow, and Dix Hills.

She found happiness in being a mother and homemaker and loved spending time with her dear friends, sisters, and large extended family. "Margie", as she was often called, had a great sense of humor, quick wit, and loved to exchange stories with everyone she met. She also enjoyed cooking, traveling, reading, watching classic movies and spending time with her nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She moved to Stuart, Florida in 2015 to be closer to family. She will be missed by many and always remembered.

A service is planned at St. Elizabeths Church on LI, New York.
