Margaret Bell, 89, of Muskegon, Michigan and Hobe Sound, Florida lived her life as a humble servant of Jesus Christ which left a sweet touch of love to all who knew her. On September 9th, 2018, she quietly slipped away from us into the loving arms of Jesus. She passed into Glory early Sunday morning and now her "chains are gone, she's been set free"!

Born in Memphis, Texas June 10, 1929, the daughter of the late J.V. and Recie (Brown) Forrest grew up in Muskegon, Michigan, graduated salutatorian of her class at Muskegon Heights High School and was married to LaVern Bell on August 12, 1950. Together they raised four kids, who blessed them with eleven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Randy (Cheryl) Bell, Cindy Whipple, Mark (Rosemary) Bell, Cristie (Mark) Davenport; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ruth) Forrest. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband LaVern, and brothers, Bob and Jim.

Margaret worked at Jiroch Candy Company until the kids started coming. As a stay at home mom, she poured her life, both physically and spiritually, into the kids' lives. She was a faithful member of Muskegon Heights Baptist Church (now Trinity Baptist Church) singing with her brothers and worshiping the Lord as a member of the choir.

In 1975 after both Randy and Cindy were married, LaVern and Margaret took the rest of the family and started a new phase of life by moving to Hobe Sound, Florida. They also made a fresh start spiritually with a new love for God like never before. They both began working at Eastpointe Condominium, became members of First Baptist Church of Hobe Sound, both joined the choir, and together served the Lord faithfully. Later, they transferred membership to Covenant Fellowship Baptist Church in Stuart, Florida and continued their spiritual journey together.

Margaret eventually worked in children's ministry, led ladies Bible studies, and shared the sweet love of Jesus everywhere she could. Her prayers greatly affected her children, grandchildren, and many others.

We invite you to join our family in a Celebration Memorial to remember our dear mother. Margaret (Forrest) Bell who was born June 10, 1929, and entered heaven September 9, 2018.

Our gathering will be held at Christ Fellowship located at 10205 Pratt Whitney Rd, Stuart, FL on Friday at 3:00 PM. A reception will immediately follow the service.

All our family is invited to a short graveside service located at All Saints Cemetery located at 2303 NE Seaview Dr, Jensen Beach, FL 34957 on Friday at 1 PM. Immediately following we will travel to Christ Fellowship for the Celebration Memorial.
