Margaret I. Davis' Obituary
Margaret I. Davis, of Stuart, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
Born in Parker, Pennsylvania, she moved to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1968, after her marriage to Walter W. Davis. They relocated to Stuart in 1975.
Margaret was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Stuart. She enjoyed people, nature, crocheting cat blankets for the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, and always appreciated the kindness of others.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter, and her sisters, Alice Klink, and Clara Freeman.
She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Rodgers, of Saint Marys, Georgia, and Robert Rodgers, of Gainesville, Florida; one daughter, Kathleen Rodgers, of Stuart; one brother, Robert Johnston, of Indianapolis, Indiana; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at 10:30 am at the First United Methodist Church of Stuart, 1500 Kanner Highway, Stuart, Florida 34994.
Contributions as a Memorial may be made and would be appreciated to the Treasure Coast Hospice. 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997 or to the First United Methodist Church of Stuart at the above address.
